New WGA Update to Detect and Nuke Windows Vista SoftMod Activation Crack

Since I posted something about a Microsoft update that kills Vista cracks, here is another post to warn pirated Vista users..( i didn't write the post, just copied it from my favorite tech blog to keep all important infos.)

Microsoft has decided to tighten the grip on ability for pirates and crackers to crack and bypass Windows Vista activation scheme, by releasing an WGA update to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition based system that will detect the presence of SoftMod hack activation exploit, which is currently been pioneered by Vista Loader. However, it’s unclear if the WGA technology update will indeed detect both SoftMod and Vista Loader, or just SoftMod activation crack, which is the predecessor version to much enhanced Vista Loader.

SoftMod and Vista Loader activation exploit works by modifying boot loader to load a simulated OEM BIOS image with necessary BIOS string in order to activate Windows Vista with respective OEM master product key straight away as if the OS is factory installed without the need to verifying against Microsoft activation server, a convenient provided by Microsoft to OEM manufacturers and customers.

Previously, with the release of Windows Vista SP1 and KB940510 update, Microsoft has managed to shut down illegal Windows Vista PCs activated with Grace Timer, notably TimerStop, OEM BIOS which apply only to Paradox OEM BIOS Emulation, or their variants. In fact, many hackers have wondered by Microsoft does not cramp down on SoftMod activation crack sooner, as SoftMod modifies system files that can be easily detected.

According to WGA blog, the new technology update will be releasing to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition only at this time and only to systems with English as their primary language. In history is correct, the update will soon apply to all Windows Vista systems in a few months.

After installing the update, if the system has detected the SoftMod activation exploit, the following screen will be shown, with warning that reads “Windows must be repaired. Windows has found software that circumvents Windows activation and interferes with its normal operation. The presence of such software may indicate that your copy of Windows is counterfeit.” Te crack is labeled as SL08-009.

SoftMod Activation Crack Detector

However, detection of SoftMod crack won’t disable the computer, and all functionality of the system continue to be usable. The updte will simply alert the user if the system is affected (or installed) with SoftMod, OEM BIOS and Grace Timer activation exploit, and will provide more information about that exploit and how to fix or remove the crack.

Vista pirates..watch out for KB940510!!

The last post "Vista and XP..Unwanted Clones", was about pirated copies of Microsoft OS and how they become genuine and activated.. I guess, Microsoft won't just sit knowing that pirates have been released and they are losing millions. So, they have their SILENT REVENGE!!

Pirated Vista users should check updates given by Microsoft before installing them. Though, their copies have passed the Genuine Validation and Activation, Microsoft still has one more weapon to defeat software piracy, through the
KB940510 update. This update was created by Redmond company and was designed to kill Vista activation exploits that bypass product activation. This killing device is served to Vista clients worldwide, provided that the Windows Update is set to automatic. If activation exploits are detected, a link will be given to help you remove these exploits. You may be asked to provide another valid(legal) product key.

The pirate killer will integrate to
Vista: Business, Home Basic, Home Premium, Starter and Ultimate, however, not with the Enterprise edition.

Vista and XP...UNWANTED CLONES

In my last post, "Vista or XP?", I mentioned some differences of these two brothers. Now, I'm gonna tell you on how their unwanted clones (pirated copies) become "original" based on my experience.

Through the Genuine Advantage Program, Microsoft monitors your OS version and if it is really a genuine software from their company. If your OS passed the test, then Microsoft is sure that it is not a pirate. But, pirated copies of Microsoft OS always come with a genuine maker, even Microsoft wouldn't notice it was there. The Vista and XP I'm using are both pirated, but the copy I bought contains serial generators and genuine makers. I had it tested with Microsoft, and it made me think that Microsoft and Bill Gates were stupid, (HAHAHA!!) my pirated copy passed the test, and so it's genuine. Now, Microsoft is giving me 100% daily updates for my OS.

After dealing with the Genuine Advantage Program, your next stop is activating your copy. This is another way for Microsoft to monitor products. If your copy is not activated, it may expire after a few days, and you won't be able to use it. Most users with pirated copies will have a hard time activating their copies through the internet because an error message will tell them that the serial has been activated already by another user, then maybe you'll try the phone activation, but I'd rather not, it's too troublesome. Instead, run some Activation cracks software like the Paradox Cracks. This will bypass the product activation requirement of your OS, after running this, your pirated copy will become fully active. Most pirated copies contains software cracks like paradox and a lot more can be found through the internet.

NOTE: Just be sure to change the settings for your Windows Updates, an activation crack killer has been roaming free (watch out!!).(I'll tell you more about it next time.)

Pirates still rule!!!

VISTA OR XP?

On 2001, Microsoft released their new operating system, the successor of windows 98,ME and 2000, the WINDOWS XP. Even on its first few months of release, XP was loved by all Microsoft consumers. So far, it was the best OS Microsoft had released due to its awesome and significant upgrades. Most Microsoft consumers switched from the old versions of OS to XP. It took five long years before Microsoft released the upgrade of XP or was five years enough?

Actually, even Microsoft felt that five years was not enough. The release of XP's younger brother in the form of VISTA was so off the schedule.

Microsoft tried to force their consumers to upgrade to Vista but XP just won't die that easy. XP was so great that its upgrade should be a 100 times greater, but (oh well!!) Vista was like a garbage if compared to its older brother XP. Consumers won't take Vista because of its bad qualities, it really received bad feed backs from some of its consumers.Microsoft pushed Vista to new computers, and some computer manufacturers have made new units compatible to Vista, and this made some consumers angry(ERRRR!!!!!). They just don't like vista, and won't accept it. Soon, Microsoft won't be producing XP anymore, and right now, updates for XP are starting to vanish.

Well, even I have some problems regarding Vista. It is slow, to be honest, my programs won't respond sometimes and I always receive error messages. Some programs aren't compatible, so I can't install some of the programs I used with my older version.

On the bright side, it still has cool features like its SIDEBAR( but a software has been released to make XP look like Vista, so XP's can have sidebars). Some gadgets for the sidebar lets you hear music through the internet or watch online videos, without opening your browser or scanning through the net, just a few clicks and your good to go.Vista also allows you to store your programs from your older OS version to one folder. You may access them but not your older OS(unless you have multiple OS).

XP's MY DOCUMENTS is different in VISTA, PICTURE folders had been taken out from the MY DOCUMENTS and was made another folder, this also goes to MUSIC and others. Vista is a little complicated and messy..( I don't know how others see it.)

If I rate Vista from 1 to 5, i'd give it 3.It is not so good and not so bad, I still find it cool, but XP gets a 5(HAHAHHA!!!).

China Phones Unleashed (china vs apple and nokia)

My sister asked me to search about china iPhones, and so we found some amazing infos about it....PIRATES STILL RULE....DABAAAHHHH!!!!

This is the logo, which is a reverse of the Apple logo(right??).

The China iPhone looks similar to the original Apple iPhone and also comes on a very similar box.

This is the image of the fake iPhone.. It looks just like the original but still they have differences.

1. The Apple iPhone is sim locked, unlike the fake one which could support any sim.

2. China iPhone is a DUAL STANDBY phone; it has two sim slots both active at the same time..no need to turn off the device to change sims.

3. It also has mp3 and mp4 players,FM radio, bluetooth, video recording capabilities,WAP and MMS.

But, as I said, it's just a FAKE... A PIRATE..(hahahah!!), so expect for some software issues and many more..

1.The fake one is thicker compared to the original, with smaller touch screen.

2. The touch screen is not so sensitive so you have to be carefull

3.Worst of all, the software is said to have so many bugs, and it doesn't support Java..(hell yeahh!!)... The phone is slow and hungs up.

4.One more thing, if connected to the PC, for sure you'll have the hard time accessing the phone because in some cases, the phone's hardware could not be installed or you still have to find a software for it (this goes to some other china phones), which each tiresome.

To watch a video and find some differences and similarities click the link below:

apple iphone vs, china iphone

Well, my phone right now is a china phone NOKIA N95, because it is cheaper (LOL!!!). Though it looks like the original Nokia n95, you can still distinguish which one's the fake, and I don't like its software. It is slow, the camera is not good. I can't access wap, or gprs, sometimes ,it doesn't read 3gp files. The thing here is, it only looks like the original, but the software is a garbage.

My other sister have another china phone, it is a touch-screen phone..I like it for playing my music and videos, coz it has good, loud speakers. It is cheap around 4000 to 5000 pesos. Its software is somewhat similar to my Nokia N95 but it is better than the latter.I even use it to hear music through the radio or watch tv ( it has an antenna which could also transform to a stylus). You can even connect it to a TV cable wire, to make it a cable TV(heelllll yeahhhh!!).

But, still it has bad features:

1.Dual sim, but you still have to reboot the device to access the other sim(stupid!!!).

2.GPRS and wap are not good, Pinoy networks doesn't support them.

3.Graphics and supported graphics....ERRRRR!!!!

4.Its camera is not so good just like my fake N95.

Well, it is always better to buy originals, but if you can't afford them, buy the fakes( just like me!!! HAHAHAH). The truth is, I salute those CHINESE PIRATES, and all other software pirates in this world, because they make lots of money..(HAHAHHA!!!).

PS: Buy the original ones, so you won't be wasting your money.
