VISTA OR XP?

On 2001, Microsoft released their new operating system, the successor of windows 98,ME and 2000, the WINDOWS XP. Even on its first few months of release, XP was loved by all Microsoft consumers. So far, it was the best OS Microsoft had released due to its awesome and significant upgrades. Most Microsoft consumers switched from the old versions of OS to XP. It took five long years before Microsoft released the upgrade of XP or was five years enough?

Actually, even Microsoft felt that five years was not enough. The release of XP's younger brother in the form of VISTA was so off the schedule.

Microsoft tried to force their consumers to upgrade to Vista but XP just won't die that easy. XP was so great that its upgrade should be a 100 times greater, but (oh well!!) Vista was like a garbage if compared to its older brother XP. Consumers won't take Vista because of its bad qualities, it really received bad feed backs from some of its consumers.Microsoft pushed Vista to new computers, and some computer manufacturers have made new units compatible to Vista, and this made some consumers angry(ERRRR!!!!!). They just don't like vista, and won't accept it. Soon, Microsoft won't be producing XP anymore, and right now, updates for XP are starting to vanish.

Well, even I have some problems regarding Vista. It is slow, to be honest, my programs won't respond sometimes and I always receive error messages. Some programs aren't compatible, so I can't install some of the programs I used with my older version.

On the bright side, it still has cool features like its SIDEBAR( but a software has been released to make XP look like Vista, so XP's can have sidebars). Some gadgets for the sidebar lets you hear music through the internet or watch online videos, without opening your browser or scanning through the net, just a few clicks and your good to go.Vista also allows you to store your programs from your older OS version to one folder. You may access them but not your older OS(unless you have multiple OS).

XP's MY DOCUMENTS is different in VISTA, PICTURE folders had been taken out from the MY DOCUMENTS and was made another folder, this also goes to MUSIC and others. Vista is a little complicated and messy..( I don't know how others see it.)

If I rate Vista from 1 to 5, i'd give it 3.It is not so good and not so bad, I still find it cool, but XP gets a 5(HAHAHHA!!!).
